Concord is proud to announce that the latest model of the CLab Series Collection, the C1 QuantumGravity, has been nominated for the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie 2009. The C1 QuantumGravity competes against other high end brands in the complicated watch category. All the nominated models will be exhibited as follows:

Singapore
From September 23rd to 27th 2009 - Living in Style, Keppel Marina, Singapore

Zurich
From October 3rd to 9th 2009 at the boutique Les Ambassadeurs

Geneva
From October 16th to November 20th 2009 at the UBS Corraterie Exhibition Hall

March 17th 2009 - Lastly, the rest of the dial goes on the top of the movement at BNB.

March 17th 2009 - Some dial sub-assemblies are screwed into the case.

March 17th 2009 - The multiple bits of the dial are assembled.

March 15th 2009 - Our case workshop specially developped a sand-blasting effect and process that gives both roughness and shimmering. We at Concord love also the pattern left by the machine tool on the steel. Do you?

March 13th 2009 - Some inner parts of the case (or of the dial, depending on your viewpoint). 3D luminova numbers make their impression!

March 12th 2009 - Revealed when a top button is pushed down, this deploying crown must be rotated before use. Engeineers at the C-Lab love challenges and we thought we would ask them to design a smart quick-release mechanism - Gecoh SA made it happen. Mission completed for all.

March 9th 2009 - Not only this “officier-style” hinged lid hides the undesirable sight of hared skin, but it’s just plainly COOL !
